1. Artist name and where did it originated from?
Y.G.K. (Young Great King) was a name I had found through trying to find a good acronym for a rap mantra. Had some other names before I really got serious but thank god nobody ever saw them lol.
2. Where are you from?
I'm from Cleveland, Ohio born and raised!
3. Influences/inspiration?
Influences for me are definitely Nas, Drake and J.Cole especially when I first began writing myself, and Kendrick right now is obviously killing it so all of them have really shown me a lot of things when it comes to this art form. As far as inspiration I think life and whatever I may go through has always gave me different perspectives on where I go in my music. But sometimes other people can give me a outlook that might get me inspired as well.
4. What makes your music different than other rappers ?
I think what makes me different is my versatility for sure. I can have some deep dive rewind the track type lyrics but can also write some things that'll be more up tempo. Plus me being able to sing a little opens me up to really do whatever I might be feeling. I also feel like my transparency separates me as well because I'm not too hesitant writing my life's ups and downs.
5. Dream collab?
There's alot of people I'd love to work with but Kendrick or SZA would definitely top right now.
6. Favorite rappers and why?
Kendrick, Cole, Nas, Biggie, J.I.D, Tae Miles my bro Blak Bravo, and Bas just to name a few. When I listen to music I like the artists who make me feel like I can see everything they're talking about.
7. Where do you see yourself In 10 years?
Touring the world, making a impact with the music and giving back to my area. Hopefully I'll have a couple of plaques and maybe some Grammy's in my parents crib too.

9. Upcoming projects?
Me and my bro I previously mentioned Blak Bravo have a joint project coming out soon, plus I'm aiming to do a EP this summer and another full length LP before the year is over.
10. Fun fact about you?
I'm a real homebody lol. I don't club or party really. Drinking or smoking have never been my thing either so yea I'm pretty boring high key.
