1. Artist name and where did it originated from?
Roy Banks and I originally was going by Roy Bank$ with a dollar sign because I wanted to use my real name and have a dollar sign in it too but a friend told me to scrap it because it was tacky
2. Where are you from?
I'm from the west side of Chicago.
3. Influences/inspiration?
Kendrick, Earl Sweatshirt, and the city Chicago itself.
4. What makes your music different than other singers ?
What makes my music different is the versatility whether I'm flowing bars, or conveying messages, singing little love anthems, providing wisdom and insight.
5. Dream collab?
I would really love to collab with Earl, Vince and Chance the rapper
6. Favorite rapper and why?
Kendrick. TPAB was a masterpiece and truthfully made me appreciate and embrace my blackness even more.
7. Where do you see yourself In 10 years?
I see myself stashed away somewhere in the cut cause I don't like the paparazzi.
8. Favorite album?
Channel Orange by Frank Ocean and Summertime 06' as a runner up by Vince Staples.
9. Upcoming projects?
I have a collab project with No More Parents Records CEO Cartel Mason its a 6 track trap/neo soul EP set to release in the later part of next month.
10. Fun fact about you?
I love sharks chicken
