1. Artist name and where did it originated from?
Stan-Li is actually my real name (Stanley) just a different way of spelling it honestly. It came from a childhood friend who just said i should use my name and at the time i was a heavy ab-soul fan so i just wanted to throw a dash in the middle and Li means powerful.
2. Where are you from?
I was born in Miami, FL but pretty much raised in Broward County my whole life.
3. Influences/inspiration?
Ab-soul, Robb Bank$, Azizi Gibson, Lil Uzi Vert, Denzel Curry, Travis Scott, Joey Bada$$, and The Underachievers are honestly just a few of my influences in music. If im answering this question right my inspiration comes from watching anime and playing playstation 4 in the midst of writing focusing on whatever message i wanna display.
4. What makes your music different than other rappers ?
What makes my music different from other rappers in my opinion is that my energy and passion while displaying a barrage of powerful lyrics through it be hip hop beats, maybe some smooth r&b instrumentals or even a trap beat i consider myself very versatile and im driven by my passion and i'm willing to do whatever it takes to ascend to the next level and achieve a goal that nobody but myself had faith in.
5. Dream collab?
Dream Collab... Have to say Kendrick Lamar, Ab-soul, Or AK from the underachievers they are honestly my favorite artist.
6. Favorite singer and why?
Favorite Rapper has to be AK of the underachievers for the fact that he's a lyricist and his anime punch lines are like in layers within his bars its really dope to see it done properly, and also a dope performer.
7. Where do you see yourself In 10 years?
10 years is kind of far you know i really don't know what the future holds but if all goes well i'd love to just be in California or Atlanta seeing my brand prosper and maybe venture off into avenues aside from music once i see that my name is established.
8. Favorite album?
Favorite album.... i would have to go with the collab album twenty88 with Big Sean and Jhené Aiko. i consider it a very slept on piece of work they compliment each other so well i hope to get more than 8 songs next time.
9. Upcoming projects?
Developing a project entitled "Sol Society" i have no actual release date as of yet, I'm still getting a feel for what sound and message to what this title actually means.
10. Fun fact about you?
Pizza is the way to my heart and i love going to the beach at night could never go wrong with either of these things.
