1. Artist name and where did it originated from?
I go by Fargo. It came from me just trying to recreate myself in a creative setting. I was just sitting around and saw a Wells Fargo commercial. I initially sampled a song from it for a beat and it was the first beat I ever made, so I turned around and remembered how I started production producing, & Fargo came along.
2. Where are you from?
Born and raised on the south side of Chicago. But I moved around to Dallas a few times growing up.
3. Influences/inspirations?
Just music. All types of music gives me vibes to create, & that influences my creative process. I'm inspired by creation. My mom planted the seed early on just blasting old rap, funk, & R&B when I was a shorty.
4. What makes your music different than other rappers/producers?
Because I don't just make one type of music. I'm an all around artist. Drill, Trap, Soul, EDM, Pop, I draw from all that to make dope Hip Hop based tracks.
5. Dream collab?
I got so many.. Kanye, Steve Aoki, Daft Punk, Hit Boy, Travi$ Scott. To name a few.
6. Favorite rapper and why?
Kanye West. He just influenced me the most out of everything. He took music to a new level. And he's from where I'm from, so I relate.
7. Where do you see yourself In 10 years?
Making music on a bigger platform. I will have grown more and perfected my craft more. Just big things.
8. Favorite album?
Kanye West's Graduation.
9. Upcoming projects?
I've got a mixtape coming out very soon called "Oh So High." A lot of great vibes with a bunch of people contributing.
10. Fun fact about you?
I also love Anime. It's another big influence on my creative thoughts.
