1. Rap name and where did it originated from?
Linden, it's just my first name. I just felt it was something that is already unique and what people know me by. How many Linden's are you gonna come across in your life?
2. Where are you from?
Born and raised in Miami-Dade County
3. Influences/inspirations?
Way too many to list, but in an overall creative sense Kanye West. Anything Yeezy challenges hip-hop culture, he's constantly re-inventing himself sonically to stay relevant and that's a page anyone should take out of his book.
4. What makes your music different than other rappers/producers?
I'm just really trying to be myself and create my own lane, from subject matter, sounds in production, content, and even word choice (trying to cut back on profanity).
5. Dream collab?
I'd really like to work with Travi$ Scott, I'm a real big fan of his catalog thus far, I love his energy and his passion for music. It always seems like a good time when his music is in rotation.
6. Favorite rapper and why?
I'd have to say Nas, he's one of the few that will go down in that GOAT category, I can remember bumping Illmatic everyday in middle school like it was the first time I heard it. From beat selection (a lot of my boom bap influence/sounds come from DJ Premier) to lyrical content/ delivery he was really ahead of his time.
7. Where do you see yourself In 10 years?
In 10 years I see myself consulting/creative directing for major brands, producing for and developing artists under my own label, and/or being a jeweler after I have some fun establishing my career in the music industry.
8. Favorite album?
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy simply because it can be argued that its the "perfect" album. Between all the collabs and unselfishness all the artists shared through that album was incredible. The whole process of being recorded in Hawaii at G.O.O.D Music studios, from the perfect mixes and masters, it made me demand "perfection" from my own music.
9. Upcoming projects?
I definitely have a lot of stuff i'm working on since I do produce/mix&master but I have my debut mixtape titled MIA dropping 2.14.16, and almost every month I'll have a project being dropped by the artists under my label (which my hands will be on).
10. Fun fact about you?
Before I started taking music seriously I was really into collecting shoes and got my first start interacting with rappers and the "culture" through a sneaker customizing brand I started.
