1. Rap name and where did it originated from?
My name is Lukeem and i was diagnosed with leukemia twice growing up & i don't like talking about that. Coming to realization that part of me is always going to be there so i decide just to embrace & let the whole world know my story.
2. Where are you from?
I am from miami florida grew up in broward for most of my childhood, stayed in west park, carver ranches , on fletcher st. where it all started for me.
3. Influences/inspirations?
Influences & inspiration comes mostly from things i go through, been through, dreams & aspirations. i love the sound of all music from bootsy collins to modest mouse (indie band) to drake. all my friends are ambitious & going after something & love what they do & that in itself inspires me to find something i love to do & be the best at it.
4. What makes your music different than other rappers/producers?
The one thing makes me different & not just me a couple other individuals that i feel like that got the power too is we understand. we understand how the game suppose to be played. its not alot of people that understand.
5. Dream collab?
Hmmm its too many but one for sure would be rick ross cause he's from my city & i respect how he move & how hard he work & also i need a kanye collab lol.
6. Favorite rapper and why?
Imma just go with drake i know thats a little cliche but i have to give credit where its due like the type of team that drake have around him i would want for me. i feel like he just can't lose right now.
7. Where do you see yourself In 10 years?
In 10 years ? successful, living very comfortable.
8. Favorite album?
Favorite album right now & the only album on my iTunes right now is "Surf" the songs on that was just beautifully crafted & I'm addicted to it.
9. Upcoming projects?
Yeah been working alot with a miami based rap collective of talented young creators called Rap Supreme. As far as solo projects & visuals just stay tuned cause everything just in the moment i don't know when I'm dropping i just go by the weather, season & time lol so just be on the look out !
10. Fun fact about you?
By the age of 10 i was writing songs already, one time i wrote a song for my sister cause our dog passed & she was a lil upset about it so i wrote it & sung it to her playing a guitar didn't even know how to play it lol.
