1. Rap name and where did it originated from?
I go by the Alias "Cbakl" or "CB4K7", I don't have a specific origin story for it but ever since I can remember I've had it as a nickname so when it came to giving myself a producer name it seemed fitting to use it.
2. Where are you from?
I'm from Northern Ireland.
3. Influences/inspirations?
I've been heavily influenced by Capital STEEZ and the rest of the Pro Era movement as I started listening to them regularly around the time I knew I wanted to produce, I fuck with their production style heavily along with numerous others including Madlib, MF DOOM, Atmosphere, Eyedea & Abilities and Childish Gambino. There's a lot of artists I bump regularly but don't necessarily see them as a source of inspiration when I'm making music.
4. What makes your music different than other rappers/producers?
Imma let my music do the talking for this one.
5. Dream collab?
Childish Gambino. Or maybe Rejjie Snow, I think our styles would work well together.
6. Favorite rapper and why?
STEEZ & Childish Gambino are two of the GOAT's imo so I'd have to say them, they've got dope tracks for every mood.
7. Where do you see yourself In 10 years?
Owning a studio in England and working with well established artists as a Producer/Studio Engineer.
8. Favorite album?
I find it hard as fuck to pick a favourite anything because there's so much dope content out there... Some all time favourites though would be Childish Gambino - Camp, The Black Keys - Brothers & Billie Holiday - Lady in Satin
9. Upcoming projects?
I'm working on an EP with my bro TwanTheDawn currently who's a dope artist From Miami. I'm also working on my third beat tape which should drop around valentines day.
