1. Rap name and where did it originated from?

  • OG Smooth Central originated from my nickname which is "Smooth" then I added the "Central" which mean the "center of" which ties in to originality hence "OG"

2. Where are you from?

  • Chicago, Illinois

3. Influences/inspiration

  • Influences: Jay- Z, Curren$y, Dom Kennedy, Wiz Khalifa

4. What makes your music different than other rappers/producers?

  • What makes my music different is the sound a the feel it gives off. I never try to do anything normal all my music comes naturally and is based off of my real life everyday experiences. I like to try different things new sounds, new beats, new melodies. So all in all I just like to make sure I stand out.

5. Dream collab?

  • Curren$y or Dom Kennedy

6. Favorite rapper and why?

  • My favorite rapper is Curren$y I've been a fan since 8th grade because of his consistency, work ethic and his originality.

7. Where do you see yourself In 10 years?

  • Where ever God places me. Personally I see my self with a family, a great music career, and longevity in this business

  • Jay- Z "Reasonable Doubt"

9. Upcoming projects?

  • I just released my debut solo project #1stQuarter which can be found here: http://www.audiomack.com/album/og-smooth-central/1st-quarter

  • I got 3 more projects lined up "Round of Applause EP" which will be out in January. Then Halftime Mixtape sometime around summer, and after that #4thQuarter in December.

10. Fun fact about you

  • I'm actually still in school and I'm also an athlete. I'm at State champion in football I played at St. Thomas Aquinas. I currently run track at ASA junior college.
